Achill Outdoor Education and Training Centre are again running an Outdoor Activity Instructor Traineeship Course. This 44 week training course aims to provide applicants with the skills and knowledge required to be able to work as an Instructor in an outdoor environment.
The modules covered are Rockclimbing, Kayaking, Powerboating, Mountain Skills and Mountain Leadership, Rescue and Emergency Training First Aid and an 8 week work placement module is also included.

Hi David,
Thank you for your enquiry. We hope to run this course again this year. It should run from August/September for 44 weeks. You are required to be registered with your local Solas Office in order to be eligible for this course. Can you telephone me and I can let you have more details on how to apply for the course.
