Wilderness / Adventure First Aid REC Level 3

 

WILDERNESS/ADVENTURE SPORTS FIRST AID REC LEVEL 3
 
This is a three day (minimum 24 hours) course recognized by the National Governing Bodies in Kayaking, Mountaineering and other outdoor governing bodies. On the course we focus on dealing with incidents in outdoor locations far from medical help with the equipment carried by a leader in outdoor activities. The emphasis is on practical skills with plenty of hands on practice in outdoor scenarios. The use of A.E.D. (automatic External defibrillation) to ERC/Phec guidelines is included in the course

 Leave No trace ethic is always  practiced, very simple: Make it hard for others to see or hear you and LEAVE NO TRACE of your visit.
